Following the closure of S&J News, tennis court bookings can now be made at Crossroad Stores, Queniborough Road, Queniborough during normal opening hours. Bookings can be made up to 2 weeks in advance for 1 hour blocks, with a maximum of 2 consecutive hours.

Turn out 43.12%
The Neighbourhood Plan must now be taken into account when Charnwood Borough Council make decisions on planning for the village.

Queniborough's Neighbourhood Plan goes to referendum on May 6th.
The Neighbourhood Plan has already helped the refusal of the Hallam Homes application on Melton Road. Please vote for the plan to give our village more protection from speculative planning applications

Charnwood Borough Council Plans Committee refused the application P/20/1605/2 Outline application for erection of up to 200 dwellings, all matters reserved except access. Land at Melton Road Queniborough LE7 3FL, at their meeting on 25th March 2021.

Charnwood Borough Council offer a service for taking your garden waste.
For an annual fee they issue a 240-litre brown wheelie bin and empty it every fortnight (apart from a two-week period over Christmas).
The year-round service is easy to join and costs £40 if payment is by annual direct debit. If you pay by any other method, the charge is £45 per year.
