Hallam Homes withdrew their Appeal to the refusal by Charnwood Borough Council's Planning Inspectorate on 3rd July 2019

The Planning Inspectorate have dismissed the appeal to build 270 houses in East Goscote. This is down to the fact that East Goscote is another settlement and does not need a further 270 houses. Follow the link for more information.

Charnwood Borough Council's latest holiday programme is for the Summer half-term and runs from Monday 15th July to Friday 23rd August, 2019. We have put together an exciting programme over six weeks across the borough.

At the January meeting of the Parish Council, the precept for the forthcoming financial year was set.
The precept is the amount of money villagers pay in their council tax for the running of the Parish Council. A new Parish Councillor has been co-opted onto the Parish Council at the last meeting of the Parish Council on 20th February. Mr Payne will attend his first meeting of the Parish Council on 20th March.

A temporary road closure is required on Barkby Road between Queniborough Road and Avenue Road.
The road will be closed on 22nd March for 1 day.
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure and temporary prohibition of waiting and loading.
