The review started on October 1, 2018 and comments were invited from that moment up until December 12, 2018.
Following that period a report was produced and a series of proposals were taken to a meeting of the Council on January 26, 2019. The report outlining some changes were approved by councillors.

Over 10,000 lottery tickets have been sold and around £6,000 has already been raised for good causes since Charnwood Borough Council launched the lottery in September 2018.
For every £1 ticket purchased, 60p goes towards helping good causes in the borough and people are able to choose which good cause to support when buying their ticket.

Charnwood Borough Council is proposing to raise its share of council tax by 9p a week for a Band D property.
The proposed increase would see the annual charge for an average Band D property rise £5 (4.27 per cent) to £122.09 from April 1, 2019.

The Parish Office has received a report of suspicious cold callers in the area, who are calling on people even though they have 'No Cold Callers' cards in their windows. Please be cautious.

The Council have 3 snow wardens who, if there is a long spell of cold weather, come out and salt and grit the footpaths in the centre of the village. There is a small payment for this.

The Council would like to thank everyone who signed the petition to ask for the Highways Department to start working with the village to improve the traffic situation in the village.
