Who we are & what we do
Queniborough Parish Council consists of 10 elected councillors who serve for a four year term. All Councillors are voluntary.

The Parish Office is normally open on Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-3.00pm. The Clerk, Rachel Barlow-Skinner will be happy to deal with any matters that you have regarding the village.

Parish Council Elections
Elections for 10 Parish Councillors and the Charnwood Borough Councillor took place on May 2nd 2019.
The Election for Parish Councillors was uncontested as there were nine nominations for the 10 vacancies available.

Our Services, Parks and Cemetery
Much of Queniborough Parish Council's work is in cooperation with the Borough and County Council to ensure that services are proved as well as possible for the residents of the village.
The Council does directly provide two parks at Rearsby Road and Coppice Lane and a cemetery at South Croxton Road.
The Parish Council has recently adopted a Tree & Hedge Maintenance Policy for the management of trees owned by Queniborough Parish Council.

Village Grass Mowing
The Parish Council is contracted by the County Council to mow the grass verges around the village.

The Parish Council has four paid staff.

The Council also employs a number of contractors including a Gardener/Handyman who is responsible for the regular maintenance of the Council's parks and cemetery.
